I'm playing with shaders at 16 chunks. Overclocking boosts the speed of a processor beyond its factory defaults, pushing your Minecraft FPS even higher. But then there is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, with its massive 96MB L3 cache, you may think it isn't pulling as far ahead as expected, and indeed it isn't since the Radeon RX 6600 used for testing is not enough to unleash the true power of this CPU - yes! an RX 6600 in Minecraft! And same holds for the GTX 1660. Close background programs/don’t have a lot of browser tabs open in the background. Given those points I believe that Minecraft may be CPU-bound. Something went wrong.
